Terms of Use

Effective August 5, 2026

These terms supplement Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement (“Apple EULA”). By downloading or using Fishr, you agree to these terms and the Apple EULA.

Fishr’s purpose

Fishr helps you organize private catch records, build a fish collection, and receive AI-assisted species and measurement suggestions. You are responsible for the photos, notes, and other content you add and for using the app lawfully.

Identification and measurement limitations

Fishr provides suggestions, not guaranteed identifications. AI results can be incomplete or wrong, including for protected, dangerous, invasive, or regulated species. Length and weight suggestions from a single ordinary photo are estimates and may be materially inaccurate.

Do not rely on Fishr for legal compliance, consumption safety, medical advice, handling safety, conservation status, seasons, size limits, possession limits, or other fishing regulations. Verify important decisions with current government regulations and a qualified local authority or expert. Handle fish safely and return fish promptly when required.

Subscriptions

Fishr may offer monthly and annual auto-renewable Fishr Pro subscriptions. Available products, prices, billing periods, and included features are shown before purchase and may vary by country. Fishr does not offer a free trial unless the purchase screen expressly says otherwise.

Payment is charged to your Apple Account after confirmation. Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel through your Apple Account subscription settings before renewal. Apple handles billing, cancellation, refunds, and applicable taxes under its rules. Deleting Fishr does not cancel a subscription.

Free usage and service changes

Fishr may provide a limited number of free AI identifications. Limits and paid features may change for future use. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features when reasonably necessary, including to address security, provider availability, legal requirements, or product changes.

Acceptable use

You may not misuse Fishr, interfere with its systems, bypass usage limits or access controls, automate abusive traffic, reverse engineer the service except where law permits, upload unlawful content, or use the app to harm people, animals, ecosystems, or property.

Your content

You retain ownership of your catch content. You give Fishr and its service providers a limited right to process content only as needed to provide features you request, secure the service, comply with law, and operate as described in the Privacy Policy. You represent that you have the necessary rights to content you upload or share.

Availability and warranties

Fishr is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, a correct identification, or that every species is present in the catalogue. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fishr’s operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, loss of data, lost profits, regulatory penalties, personal injury, or property damage arising from reliance on an identification or measurement suggestion. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Termination

You may stop using Fishr at any time. We may restrict backend access for material misuse, security threats, fraud, or legal requirements. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination remain effective.

Apple terms

The Apple Standard EULA also applies. If these supplemental terms conflict with the Apple EULA on a matter governed by it, the Apple EULA controls.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms for future use of Fishr. We will revise the effective date and provide any notice required by law. Questions: info@altion.ai.
